Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
As a result of changes in government legislation, health fund regulations state that all students wishing to claim benefits for yoga classes need to have a teacher who:
Has been trained by and is a current member of a recognised Yoga Teacher Training organization
Is involved in an ongoing Continuing Professional Development Program (CPD)
Has a current First Aid Certificate
IYTA will support their members by providing a variety of opportunities at both State and National level that can be used for personal and professional development and meet these requirements.
To register email membership@iyta.org.au please type in subject: “CPD Register” include commencement date 1 July 2010/11/12 (one of these three dates) and quote IYTA membership number. Please also provide First Aid Certificate expiry date.
