The course includes over two hundred hours of lectures/teaching, plus individual assignments and mentorship.  It covers spiritual and philosophical aspects of yoga as well as physical aspects.

It actively encourages participants to reflect and think for themselves, to develop their own interpretations and understanding of how yoga principles, psychology and philosophy apply in their everyday life, embracing many perspectives and the format fosters opportunity to develop strong friendships with like-minded people.

It provides an introduction to and solid grounding in yoga for teenagers, seniors, and pregnant women which gives participants a strong foundation for further specialisation if desired.  The next course commences June 2013.

There are six teacher training committee members:  Mary Shellens, Patricia Wigley, Rosemary Pearson, Liz Kraeft, Satyaprem Gibson and Lydia Dyhin.
